About
Guided kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the River Dee, based at Sandy Lane Park just outside the city centre, with British Canoeing-qualified instructors and options from relaxed flat-water tours to white-water sessions (the white-water activities run further afield in Llangollen, North Wales). No experience is necessary for the calm-water tours, and family trips run from age six for kayaking and eight for stand-up paddleboarding. Formerly branded Dee River Kayaking, the operator rebranded as Paddle the Dee in 2025.
