Cambridge's only two-Michelin-starred restaurant, in a Victorian villa on Midsummer Common overlooking the Cam, a short walk from the city centre. Chef Daniel Clifford has held the restaurant at this level for years, cooking a set surprise-format tasting menu across three tiers (Solstice, Corpus and Trinity) that changes regularly with the seasons, alongside five AA Rosettes. It is a genuine occasion restaurant: reservations open three months ahead on the first of each month at 9am and popular dates go quickly, with a waiting list for anything fully booked. Vegetarian versions of the tasting menus are available with advance notice.
