About

The taproom and shop for Bristol Beer Factory, one of the city's longest-running independent breweries, on North Street in Southville, just across the river from the centre. Five hand pulls and eight keg lines pour the brewery's own beers alongside guest taps, with cans and merchandise to take home; the brewery itself now operates from a newer site at Ashton Vale Road, where public tours run most Saturdays. The taproom hosts quiz nights and live sport alongside regular drinking, and staff pour generous tasting measures for anyone deciding what to order.
