Hotel Nineteen is a small guesthouse on Broad Street in Kemptown, with individually themed en-suite rooms in a Victorian terrace a couple of minutes' walk from the beach and the pier. It has the feel of a boutique hotel at guesthouse prices, with a design-led approach to a small number of rooms rather than the chintz some Brighton B&Bs still lean on. Being so close to the seafront means some rooms catch a sea view, though with only a handful of rooms it books out quickly on summer weekends and during Pride. There is no restaurant on site, so guests rely on Kemptown's own cafes and restaurants.
