Y Stablau
Royal Oak Hotel, Holyhead Road, Betws-y-Coed, Conwy, LL24 0AY
About
Y Stablau, the Stables, is the Royal Oak's bar and restaurant on Holyhead Road, in the old stable range beside the hotel. Its own site names its suppliers: free-range eggs from Ochr Cefn Isa, a hill farm, burgers from OE Metcalfe the butcher, and cask ale from Conwy Brewery, with a children's menu and dogs welcome. Visit Conwy lists it for lunch and evening meals with no booking needed; expect a wait at peak times. The hotel's Grill and its Llugwy restaurant are in the main building. Food service times are not published on Y Stablau's own site, so check before you go.
