About
The ruined 12th-century Augustinian priory at the north end of Wexford's Main Street, founded on the site of an earlier church. Selskar Abbey is an unguided Office of Public Works heritage site: free to enter, with the roofless nave and tower still standing among the graveyard. It sits within a few minutes' walk of Westgate and the rest of the old walled town, making it a natural stop on any self-guided walk through the historic core.
