The most famous pub in Westport and one of the best-known trad pubs in Ireland, owned by Matt Molloy, the flautist of the Chieftains. There is live traditional music most nights of the week in the back room, where the 1993 live album Music at Matt Molloy's was recorded. Come for the session and a pint rather than a meal; the food is limited to bar snacks.
