The oldest civic building in Ireland, founded by Vikings around 1003 and rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. The two-floor exhibition covers the Viking origins of Waterford, with original gold and silver finds from the city's longphort. Open year-round, with a reduced Wednesday to Sunday schedule from December to March.
