About
The 300-metre summit that stands directly behind Roundstone village. There is no marked path: the usual line starts up Fuschia Lane beside O'Dowd's and picks a route through sheep tracks, with several false summits before the real one. The payoff is a wide view over Gorteen Bay, Dog's Bay and the scattered lakes of the Connemara bog. A private guided version, roughly four hours, is bookable through GetYourGuide with the operator Roam In A Day, meeting at the Roundstone village car park.

Tips
- →Sheep tracks, not a marked trail: sturdy boots and good visibility matter more than distance covered.
- →Budget more time than the distance suggests; the false summits catch people out.
