The name matters here, because the old one is still all over the internet. This is the Midleton Distillery Experience, not the Jameson Experience Midleton, and if a listing calls it the latter it has not been updated since the site was redeveloped. What you are visiting is the original distillery, working from 1825 until production moved next door to the modern plant in 1975, on a fifteen-acre site behind a wall off Main Street. The standard tour is a guided 75 minutes through the old distillery buildings with a short film, a guided tasting of three whiskeys and a drink at the Signature Bar at the end. The operator suggests allowing up to two hours in total so you are not rushing the drink and the shop. A premium version swaps in a comparison tasting of four premium whiskeys with a whiskey expert. Open seven days a week; pre-booking is recommended and in summer that is worth reading as required. Worth knowing if you are not drinking or not touring: the retail, bar and cafe spaces carry no admission charge, and a non-alcoholic ticket option is sold at reception.
