The SpitJack is a rotisserie brasserie, part of a small group with a sister restaurant in Cork, doing spit-roasted chicken and duck, brasserie plates and a strong brunch in a bright, buzzy dining room. It is an easy, crowd-pleasing choice for lunch, brunch or an unfussy dinner in the city centre, more relaxed than the special-occasion rooms but a cut above casual. Booking is worth it at weekends.
