The Curragower is a bar and seafood restaurant on Clancy Strand, and it has the best view in Limerick: a terrace looking straight across the Shannon at King John's Castle and the Curragower Falls. The kitchen does honest seafood and pub food, and on a fine evening or a summer afternoon the terrace is one of the finest pints in the city. It is heaving on match days, when the whole city seems to funnel down to the riverside, so time a visit accordingly and book a table for food.
