Lahinch Promenade & Beach Walk

2km ·

← All things to do

About

The simplest and most-used walk in Lahinch: the mile of Victorian promenade built after the 1893 sea-wall rebuild, with the beach itself alongside for most of its length and Lahinch Golf Club's links running along the northern end. No route-finding required, and it works in any weather, storm-watching included.

Highlights

  • level, paved promenade suitable for buggies and wheelchairs
  • views along the golf links
  • popular storm-watching spot in winter

Tips

  • Check tide times before walking the beach itself rather than the paved promenade
  • Winter storms can send spray over the promenade wall, take care in high wind
