A family-run restaurant in a whitewashed cottage overlooking Liscannor Bay, about 3km south of the village on the coast road toward Miltown Malbay. Open since 1988, Barrtrá has built its reputation on a set-course seafood or meat menu built around whatever the boats brought in that day, alongside dishes such as fennel-stuffed plaice and Black Angus ribeye.
