About
The pub at the Ballina end of the bridge, in Co. Tipperary, and the place The Irish Road Trip credits with first putting the twin towns on the map for food. It has been renovated and reopened: its own site calls it the new Goosers and describes a reimagined riverside space. The menu is modern Irish dishes and comfort classics, with seasonal seafood, Irish meats, vegetarian dishes and homemade desserts, and a bar with cocktails. It is open seven days from noon until late. Book a table on its own reservations page; the pub asks for larger groups and weekend bookings to email or phone.
