About
Holy Cross Church is Kenmare's fine Gothic-Revival Catholic church, built in the 1860s and one of the more striking buildings in the town. Its interior is worth a look for the timber roof and the coloured light through the windows, a quiet, free stop a short walk from the square. It fits naturally into a wander around the planned streets and the town's other heritage, the lace and the stone circle, and it is an easy indoor break on a wet day. Please be mindful that it is a working church; times may be limited around services.
