Town
Kenmare is a compact, mostly flat town centre with footpaths on the main streets, so getting between the restaurants, shops and the square on foot is straightforward, though some historic buildings have a step at the door; check with the venue.
Stone Circle
The Kenmare Stone Circle is a short walk from the square on a surfaced path with a field-gate entrance and grass underfoot inside; the ground can be uneven.
Reenagross
The Reenagross woodland park has surfaced and gravel paths through wood and along the estuary; some sections are level and some undulate. Contact the town for current path conditions.
For venue-level access, contact each place directly. The main obstacles are the steps into some older buildings and the uneven ground at the outdoor heritage sites.

Kenmare has bank and ATM facilities in the town centre, more than most villages of its size, along with cash-back at some shops. Machines can run low at peak times around Fair Day and the August festival, so carry some cash for the cash-only spots such as Gleninchaquin Park and the stone-circle honesty box. University Hospital Kerry (UHK), Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry, V92 NX94. 24-hour Emergency Department, open every day of the year, for all ages including children. Roughly 55 to 65 km and about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes by road from Kenmare via the N71 and Killarney. Kenmare has no Emergency Department and no injury unit of its own, so in a life-threatening emergency this is the hospital to reach, and the travel time is worth planning for as a safety point.

The nearest 24-hour Emergency Department is University Hospital Kerry in Tralee, open every day for all ages, roughly 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes away by road. The nearest injury unit is Bantry Injury Unit, about 35 to 37 km, open 8am to 8pm daily, age 5 and over only.
Life-threatening emergencies: dial 999 or 112. For minor injuries only, Bantry Injury Unit in Co. Cork is closer to Kenmare, about 35 to 37 km via the N71, but check the clock and the age limit before you set out: it opens 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and treats people aged 5 and over ONLY. Direct line +353 27 54836. Outside 8am to 8pm, or for a child under 5, or for anything serious, the drive is to University Hospital Kerry in Tralee instead. Bantry Injury Unit is not an Emergency Department, does not take ambulances, and does not treat injuries to the chest, abdomen or pelvis or serious head or spine injuries. The University Hospital Kerry number given here is the hospital switchboard. The Emergency Department direct line is published differently by two official sources: University Hospital Kerry's own site gives 066 718 4100, while the HSE urgent and emergency care listing gives 066 748 4302. Attending an Emergency Department costs 100 euro without a medical card or GP referral; an injury unit costs 75 euro on the same terms.

The narrow X-plan streets clog with coaches and traffic around the middle of the day in summer, so arrive early and use off-street parking where you can.
