The Corrib Princess leaves from Steamers Quay at Woodquay, near the Cathedral, for a ninety-minute run up the River Corrib and onto the lake. There is live narration as you go, pointing out the castles, churches and wildlife along the banks. It runs daily from May to September, with departures at 12:30 and 14:30, plus a 16:30 sailing added in July and August. A good way to see the city from the water and get out past the edge of it.
