The Village at Wheelocks
← All things to do
About
The Wheelocks have grown fruit on their farm outside Enniscorthy since the 1950s, and the farm is now open as the Village at Wheelocks: a café and farm shop, forest and river walks, farm animals, a playground and, from May to October, picking your own Wexford strawberries in the polytunnels. A guide shows you how the plants are grown and how to pick, and you take the punnet home. It is about three and a half kilometres east of the town, close to the M11, so it is easiest by car. The café serves food from Wexford producers all day.
