The Bailey is on Barrack Street, a couple of minutes up from the old bridge. It calls itself a bar and eatery, and it is both: a coffee bar from eleven, lunch from noon every day, and an evening menu that runs until eight most nights and nine on Fridays and Saturdays. The Irish Pub Awards named it the country's Best Food Pub, and the seafood chowder is the dish it puts forward when it cooks at the Rockin' Food Festival.
