About
The Cathedral of SS Peter and Paul is the Catholic cathedral of the Diocese of Killaloe and one of the landmarks of the town, its spire of around 200 feet visible across Ennis. It is a nineteenth-century Gothic Revival church, free to enter, and a quiet, cool space to step into off the street. It is not a major set-piece attraction but it is a handsome building and part of the fabric of the town centre, worth a look as you walk between the friary, the Square and the shops.
