East Pier
The East Pier is granite-paved end-to-end and fully wheelchair-accessible. Public toilets near the bandstand are accessible.
West Pier
The West Pier is rougher underfoot in places; the inner section near the harbour is accessible but the seaward end has uneven surfaces.
Lex Icon
The dlr LexIcon library is fully accessible with lift access between all floors and accessible toilets on every level.
James Joyce Tower
The Martello tower at Sandycove has narrow internal stairs and is not wheelchair-accessible. The exterior viewing area at Sandycove Point is step-free.
Dart
Dún Laoghaire DART station has step-free access from the entrance to both platforms; Iarnród Éireann can arrange ramp boarding with 24 hours' notice via 1850 366 222.

St Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin, D04 T6F4, about 6km. This is the nearest emergency department and it is open 24 hours. The hospital's own emergency department page publishes a consultant led 24/7 service for patients aged 16 years and over. Note that the HSE listing for the same department says age 14 and over, so a 14 or 15 year old should ring 01 221 4358 ahead rather than assume they will be seen. Children under 16 are treated at a Children's Health Ireland emergency department; dial 112 or 999 to be directed.

Because the hospital's own page and the HSE service finder disagree about whether this counts as an emergency department at all, do not rely on it: for anything serious, outside 08:00 to 20:00, or for anyone under 16, use St Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin, D04 T6F4, emergency department 01 221 4358, about 6km north, or dial 112 or 999.
St Michael's Hospital in Dún Laoghaire is not open 24 hours. No dedicated luggage storage in Dún Laoghaire town. The Royal Marine and Haddington House will hold guest bags on check-in/check-out days. For day-trippers, Dublin Connolly Station luggage lockers (one DART stop towards Dublin) are the nearest option.
