The Wood, Dingle, Co. Kerry, V92 D996
The Dingle Cookery School on The Wood runs hands-on courses built around the peninsula's produce, from bread and seafood to its well-known Catch and Cook class, where you fish Dingle Bay and then cook what you land. It was named the best cookery school in Ireland at the 2025 Irish Food Awards. It is more an experience than a shop, a good wet-day or special-occasion option, and a genuine way to take a bit of Dingle's food culture home with you in skill rather than a bottle.
