John Benny's Pub
Strand Street, Dingle, Co. Kerry, V92 N207
About
John Benny's, on Strand Street opposite the pier, is run by the trad musician John Benny Moriarty and his wife Éilís, and it is one of the most dependable spots in town for both a session and a feed. The kitchen does all-day pub food with seafood the speciality, and the music starts most nights of the week. It manages the trick of being a genuine music pub that also feeds you properly, which not all of them do. Walk in; come early for a table on a session night.
