A Gothic Revival cathedral on Bishop Street, designed by William Burges and consecrated in 1870, on a site of worship that goes back to the 7th-century monastery of St Finbarr. It is known for its three spires, its carved stonework and mosaic floors, and the gilded Golden Angel of the Resurrection on the eastern end.
