About
An hour on foot around the village with a guide, leaving the Quiet Man Museum at noon every day in season. It takes in the locations that are genuinely here: Pat Cohan's, the Reverend Playfair's house, the Dying Man's house, the holy water scene, the courting scenes and the fight, plus the commemorative statue of Wayne and O'Hara beside the old graveyard. The guides are local and several are descended from people who worked on the shoot as extras, which is the reason to do it rather than read a map. The walking is flat and short. Note that this is a Cong tour of Cong locations; the Quiet Man Bridge and the White O'Morn ruin are both in County Galway and are not on it.
