The estate's second hotel, at Lisloughrey on the Corrib shore about a kilometre and a half east of the village, with 64 rooms and its own restaurants in Wilde's at The Lodge and the Quay Bar and Brasserie. It is a separate booking from the castle and a separate proposition: the hotel's guidance for its own guests is that a Lodge stay gives you the grounds but not the inside of the castle, although you can book dinner in the castle through the concierge. For most people planning a Cong trip this is the realistic estate stay. Lisloughrey Pier, where the Corrib Cruises boats leave, is a short walk past the gate, and unlike the castle the Lodge sits on the County Mayo side of the boundary.
