A third-generation family cafe on Abbey Street, a few doors from the abbey gate, working to a formula the family traces back to 1952: hand-cut sandwiches made to order, loose-leaf tea, ground coffee and pastries baked on the premises. It opens Tuesday to Sunday and closes mid-afternoon. The position is the point, because Abbey Street is where you come out after walking the abbey and the fishing house.
