The Red Bank Restaurant
St George's Terrace, Townparks, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, N41 CK00
About
The Red Bank is a family-run dining room on St George's Terrace, the street that runs from the town out along the river towards The Dock, and it is the closest thing Carrick has to a proper occasion restaurant that is not attached to a hotel. The kitchen leans on producers from the town and the surrounding countryside, and the menu changes with the season, so what is on the board in February will not be what is on it in July. Booking goes through OpenTable from their own site rather than through a reservations system of their own. Worth knowing that hours are not published online, so phone if you are planning around a specific evening.
