The brewery is at the Old Mill at Riverstown, about six kilometres out the Dundalk road from the village on the Cooley Peninsula, and it brews craft beers named after local landmarks and stories. Owner Des Goldrick runs guided brewery tours of around two to two and a half hours, with an optional ploughman's lunch of local cheeses and artisan breads, and the site doubles as an events venue with a taproom and the Old Mill room. It is the only brewery on the peninsula and it is close enough to Carlingford to be a genuine part of a stay here rather than a day trip.
