Noo is a small artisan chocolate maker based at the Quay in Ballina, where each piece is made by hand in small batches. It is exactly the kind of made-in-Ballina thing to bring home rather than a mass-market souvenir, a local chocolatier turning out truffles and bars a short walk from the river. Stock and opening can be seasonal for a maker this size, so check ahead, but when it is on it is one of the nicer edible gifts the town offers.
