About
Luan Gallery is County Westmeath's municipal art gallery, on Elliott Road on the Left Bank a short walk from the castle, showing contemporary exhibitions by emerging and established Irish and international artists in a welcoming, accessible modern space. Alongside the exhibitions it runs workshops, talks, guided tours and film screenings, and it houses the Abbey Road Artists Studios, four residency studios for working artists. Admission is free, and it is a good indoor stop on the Left Bank, easily combined with Sean's Bar and a look at the castle exterior.
