The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs directly through Tenby, and heading north from North Beach for about a mile brings you to Waterwynch Bay, a secluded shingle-and-sand cove that disappears completely at high tide and involves a steep path down and back up. The same path continues on toward Monkstone Point and Saundersfoot for a longer walk (see the Tenby to Saundersfoot trail).
