Rick and Jill Stein opened this restaurant in 1975, and it is still the flagship of the Stein group, whose own site lists four other restaurants and bars in Padstow. It sits on Riverside, the road along the south side of the harbour, and cooks fish and shellfish to Rick's recipes: the group's own page names lobster thermidor, turbot hollandaise, an Indonesian seafood curry and Dover sole, with Pete Murt as head chef. A Seafood Bar in the same building takes walk-ins for oysters and plates to share, and there is a set lunch, priced at 40 pounds on the restaurant's own page, served from noon to 3pm.
