Stein's Fish & Chips is a takeaway hatch and a sit-down restaurant in one shop on the south quay. The fish is cooked to order, battered, grilled or gluten free, with the twice-cooked chips, and sitting in comes with unlimited chips, the group's own selling point. The menu also carries Cornish species other than cod, and a Goan curry sauce made to Rick Stein's recipe. You can pre-order a takeaway online and collect it, which saves the queue on a summer evening. It is one of several Stein businesses on the quay.
