The Cambridge bakery and cafe behind the Chelsea bun, baking to the same original recipe since 1920 and turning out an estimated 300,000 buns a year across its city-centre branches. The flagship on Trumpington Street, close to the Fitzwilliam Museum, has a sit-down cafe alongside the bakery counter; further branches trade on Bridge Street and King's Parade. Daytime service is walk-in, with seating limited enough at peak times that queueing is normal; group bookings are handled separately through the website.
