Royal Oak Hotel
Holyhead Road, Betws-y-Coed, Conwy, LL24 0AY
About
The big hotel on Holyhead Road, a former Victorian coaching inn on Telford's A5, in the middle of the village. Visit Wales lists 27 rooms with breakfast included. The hotel's access statement says the ground floor is level throughout, the two upper floors of the main building have a porterage service for luggage rather than a lift, the annexe has a lift to its one upper floor, and there is one adapted room for wheelchair users. The Grill and the Llugwy restaurant are in the main building and Y Stablau, the bar and restaurant, is in the old stables on the same site. Rooms book online through the hotel's own site, which promises its best price there.
