Ireland's National Folk Theatre, based in a purpose-built arts centre in Tralee Town Park since 1991. Founded in 1957 by Father Pat Ahern, its resident company performs folk theatre productions rooted in Irish tradition, alongside a wider programme of touring drama, dance, comedy and music in its 350-seat theatre, plus a gallery space for visual arts.
