About

A small county museum in a former manse on Stephen Street, covering County Sligo's history from prehistoric times to the present. Its Yeats Collection, developed with the help of Nora Niland (who also shaped The Model's Niland Collection), includes a replica of Yeats's 1923 Nobel Prize in Literature and material spanning 1889 to 1936, alongside paintings by Jack B. Yeats and objects associated with Constance Markievicz and her sister Eva Gore-Booth, both prominent Sligo-connected figures.
