About
A lakeshore forest walk on the western shore of Lough Gill, starting from the Half Moon Bay car park at Hazelwood Demesne, about 10 minutes' drive from the town centre. The trail follows the lake before splitting into a shorter loop and a longer path that runs behind the old Hazelwood estate, with views out to Church Island, Cottage Island and Goat Island along the way, plus a handful of sculptures and picnic spots. It's part of the wider Lough Gill Drive route.
