Newgrange Farm

About

One of Ireland's original open farms, off the Slane to Drogheda stretch of the N51, about three miles from the village. It is a working farm set up for families: animals to meet and feed, a tractor-trailer ride on group visits, and a coffee shop. It is seasonal. The 2026 season ran from 20 March to 30 August, from 10am to 6pm with last admission at 5pm, and the farm is now closed for autumn and winter and says it will reopen in spring 2027. Coming from Slane, the farm's own directions say to turn right just after Smith's Stores, three miles out.
