Brambles Café at Brú na Bóinne

The cafe inside the Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre at Donore, run by Brambles, which serves teas, coffee, breakfast, lunch and cakes. It matters more than a visitor-centre cafe usually does, because the Newgrange and Knowth tours run on timed shuttle buses from the centre and this is the only cafe in the visitor centre. If your tour slot is in the early afternoon, eat here before the shuttle rather than after. The Office of Public Works lists it as open all year, seven days a week, from 10:00 to 16:00, which is shorter than the visitor centre's own hours in summer.
