About
Home to the Talbot family for over 800 years, Malahide Castle is one of the oldest continuously inhabited castles in Ireland. The guided tour takes you through opulent state rooms and tells the story of the family who lived here from 1185 to 1976. But the real surprise is the 260 acres of parkland surrounding it: free to enter, immaculately maintained, and home to one of only four botanical walled gardens on the island of Ireland with over 5,000 plant species.
