About

Nicholas Mosse has been making hand-thrown, hand-sponged Irish spongeware since 1976, working out of a restored flour mill in Bennettsbridge about 8km south of the city. The pieces are turned and decorated by hand, and the mill itself is worth the short drive to watch the process. The shop and cafe make an easy half-day out of it.
