Sheen Falls Lodge is the other five-star name in Kenmare, a country-house hotel on a large estate just east of the town, set beside the floodlit Sheen waterfall from which it takes its name. It runs to fine dining at The Falls, a spa, a whiskey bar, riverside grounds and its own smokehouse and gardens, and it makes a luxurious, self-contained base with the town a short drive or walk away.
