Lorge is a French-trained chocolatier based at Bonane, a few kilometres south of Kenmare on the N71, run by Benoit Lorge, who makes handmade chocolates, truffles and confectionery in Kerry. Alongside the shop the workshop runs chocolate-making experiences, so it doubles as a thing to do and a thing to bring home, and the boxes make one of the more distinctive Kenmare gifts. It is a short drive out of the town toward Glengarriff, so it pairs well with a run down the Beara road. Check current opening and workshop times before you go.
