The Boathouse is a waterfront wine bar and bistro at Dromquinna, about 5 km west of the town on the shore of Kenmare Bay, part of the Dromquinna Manor estate. It makes the most of its setting, with a menu built on bay seafood and Kerry produce and tables looking out over the water, and it is a lovely spot on a fine day when you want to eat by the sea rather than in the town. It is seasonal and popular, so book ahead. You can reserve directly or through the online booking system.
