Riverhaven is a set of Scandinavian log cabins run by the Burke family at Kilteasheen, near Knockvicar, on the shore of the Boyle river and Lough Key north-east of Boyle. There are three-bedroom and four-bedroom cabins sleeping six to eight, every bedroom ensuite, each with a wood-burning stove, a heat pump, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a roofed veranda. Beds are made up on arrival and there is a welcome pack. They are built for families and groups who want to cook for themselves and be on the water, and you will need a car to get into Boyle. Booking is online through the cabins' own site.
