About
Founded in 2013 by the O'Malley family after they were inspired by a documentary on sea salt production and the long-forgotten tradition of salt-making on Achill. The business moved from the family kitchen to a purpose-built facility in Bunnacurry in September 2016. Salt is hand-harvested through slow evaporation of Atlantic seawater in small batches, using a mix of traditional and modern methods, and the range has grown to include seaweed-infused salt, salted caramel products and a skincare line drawing on the same mineral-rich water.
