About
Ireland's first island distillery, founded in 2019 near Bunnacurry by John McKay and John Burbage; after McKay's death in 2020 his sons Michael and Sean continued the business alongside distiller Ken Quinn. The distillery produces peated and unpeated single malt whiskey, single pot still whiskey, rum, gin, vodka and poitin, with spirits now distributed across the USA, Europe, Ukraine and Australia. Visitors can take a guided grain-to-glass tour finishing with tastings at the on-site Barley Field Bar.
